The Village Gives Back Foundation is a corporate donor advised fund committed to annual grant-making to support economic development programs and its community throughout the state of Minnesota.
Village Automotive Group continues to "give back" to the community with contributions to local and national charities, volunteer efforts with our employees, and through our foundation.
Various ways we've given back: Toys for Tots, United Way, Children's Cancer Research Fund, Letters to Our Soldiers, Ronald McDonald, Hammer, Interfaith Outreach Community Partners and many other local charities.
Village Gives Back Foundation (VGBF) is a corporate donor advised fund of the Minnesota Community Foundation whose mission is to help fund community development in Minnesota. Village Automotive Group has been in the Twin Cities community since the early 1950's.
It is an elite organization including Lexus of Wayzata, Lexus of Maplewood, Village Chevrolet, Bargain Lot, and Wayzata Auto Collision Repair. Village Automotive Group has an upscale environment that strives to provide excellent customer service, sales, and products at their state-of-the-art facilities.
1n 2011 Village Gives Back Foundation started a corporate donor advised fund committed to annual grant-making to support economic development programs throughout the state of Minnesota.
Proposals must address community economic development needs. VGBF will consider grant applications for:
- Promising programs that demonstrate sound management and clear goals relevant to community needs.
- Program expansion
- Special Projects
Village Gives Back Foundation will not consider grant applications for:
- Ongoing annual operating expenses
- Grants to individuals
- Projects located outside the state of Minnesota
- Employee or scholarship gifting
- Organizations that are NOT 501c3 non-profits
Organizations must be qualified 501c3 non-profit organizations.
